Played the guitar since he was 10 years old and started to play piano and keyboards a couple of years after that, played the saxophone too for a while. He always were more interested in the creation of music, in the total sound of the song, rather than in a selected instrument. So he more and more focused on the keyboards, as he saw their potential in creating music, more than becoming an instrumentalist.
But still he is a good keyboardplayer and a talented guitarist.
Although he says he doesnt like to write lyrics he still does it, and he does it good too.

During the early 80's he played in a couple of bands that where equaly relentless in their approach to other musical cultures. There was a constant clash between styles and the style they developed, in all of the bands, you now in retrospect, can see wears the mark of Tobbe. The mixing of latino rhtyms and rock, oriental melodies with western backgrounds have more and more become his trademark. If there is a sound and a way to put them together that no-one have thought of so far, he will.

In the 90's the musical inspiration where taking a more traditional course after playing together with a traditional band setting. Now after meeting Clark Chinawski during time in university he have started to explore the realms of his imagination again and found that there is a completely new unlimited world in there. Inspiration flows like never before and the people he works with now seems to fit him like a glove. The rest of us only have to enjoy the trip.
